He was the President of the Karnataka State Chartered Accountants Association, Chairman of Taxation Committee and Treasurer of the Federation of the Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI), Bengaluru and the member of the Taxation Committee of Federation of the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), New Delhi.
